The historical significance and beauty of this island was a form of its own. Some of the best parts were simple, open pathways. You could easily spend a day here learning of all the historically rich remnants. The Gospels Garden, Heritage Centre, Priory, St. Mary’s Church, and Lindisfarne Castle are just some of the places to check out, not to mention the unique shops and restaurants. Maybe, just have a picnic in the grass, sit on the water’s edge and read a book, or capture endless photos of the awesome panoramic views.
